Classes are taught live online. They may be recorded for educational replay, with access restricted to authorized students in the relevant class. Recordings support replay of live teaching; the courses are not delivered as pre-recorded, self-paced training.
You follow along on your own machine and ask your questions during the session.
Where required, you complete a short onboarding assessment before payment. It asks about your background and includes a few practical questions about the subject.
Each course uses one currently applicable class. Required assessments record readiness or prerequisite eligibility. The actual class and schedule are shown before payment.
SQL Server Performance Tuning works differently. It is an advanced course, so instead of a placement it has a short eligibility check, and it is not open to complete beginners.
Each class runs on set weekday evenings. The exact days are published with the class, so you can check them against your week before you enroll.
Every class publishes its start time, and your account also shows it converted to your own time zone.
